Privacy & legal notice
Quantic Eagle LTD (“Quantic Eagle”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal information submitted through this website. We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14897160, with registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.
Information we collect
If you use the company enquiry form, we receive your name, contact email, organisation, role, enquiry category, message and technical security data needed to validate the request, including request headers and information derived from IP addresses to limit submission frequency. Please do not submit trading credentials, account data, confidential strategies or special-category personal data.
Purpose and lawful basis
We use the information to assess and answer genuine corporate, strategic, infrastructure or due-diligence enquiries, protect the website from abuse and retain an appropriate record of business correspondence. The principal lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the company and managing relevant business communications. Where a request concerns steps towards a contract, processing may also be necessary to take those steps at your request.
Cookies and analytics
We have not added advertising trackers, behavioural profiling tools or third-party analytics scripts to these pages. The form uses a technical cookie, qe_csrf, to help prevent forged submissions; it expires within two hours. Our hosting provider, IONOS, also processes technical website access data. Its hosting privacy information (in Italian) states that IP addresses are anonymised and access data is retained for eight weeks. These terms concern data processed by the hosting service, not the emails or abuse-prevention records described below.
Sharing and international processing
Information is available only to authorised persons and service providers required to host the site or deliver company email. We do not sell personal information. Where a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom, we use an appropriate UK data-transfer mechanism where required.
Retention and security
If you submit an enquiry, the form sends its content to the company email account; it does not store it in a website database. We keep the correspondence while it is needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship. When it is no longer needed, we delete it. If particular messages are required for a legal obligation or dispute, we retain them separately for that purpose, for the period required by the applicable obligation or the handling of the dispute. We use access controls, encrypted transmission and abuse-prevention measures.
How long abuse-prevention records remain
When it receives a submission attempt, the form uses the IP address to derive a code through a hash function. It saves a small file with that code in its name, the start time and the number of attempts, without the message content. This is pseudonymised data, not anonymous data. The counting window lasts ten minutes. On the next submission attempt, the form deletes expired records, including those for other addresses. If there are no further attempts, files may remain on the server until a cleanup is performed: ten minutes is therefore not a maximum retention period. This is separate from the cookie lifetime and the retention stated by IONOS for its own access data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. To exercise a right, use the company enquiry form and select “Privacy / data rights”.
Financial and website disclaimer
Quantic Eagle operates exclusively with its own capital. This website provides corporate information and general education in research methods. It is not an offer, solicitation, investment recommendation, financial promotion or investment advice. Quantic Eagle does not accept money to invest on behalf of others or manage their investments and does not accept client mandates or offer public signals, trading execution software, models or execution access.
Research visualisations are presented with their scope, limitations and context clearly stated. They must not be interpreted as audited performance, a forecast, a return earned on behalf of clients or a promise of future results. External links are provided for verification or convenience; Quantic Eagle does not control their content.
Charts and research content
Homepage charts use invented data to illustrate research concepts. They do not represent Quantic Eagle’s results or forecasts of returns. Individual research notes explain the nature of their examples and sources.
Fieldbook release notification and browser tools
If you request a release notification, we receive your email address, selected language, the date and time of the request and the version of the consent wording, together with the form’s technical security data. We rely on your consent to send the single email you requested. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter or create an order. You may withdraw consent at any time through the privacy contact form; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. We keep the notification record for no more than 90 days after sending the email, or 12 months from your request if it has not been sent. Records needed to handle a rights request or comply with law may be retained separately for that purpose. The public CSV tools process selected files locally in your browser: those files are not uploaded to Quantic Eagle. Ordinary website requests can still appear in hosting security logs.
